Overview

Elephant Pepper Camp is located in the middle of a 3600 sq km wilderness. It is situated within the protected Koiyaki wilderness area, away from other lodges.

In order to preserve this special area the camp is seasonal and closes for two months of the year. Our spacious canvas tents are comfortably furnished, featuring en suite bathrooms with eco-friendly flush toilets and traditional safari showers.

Nothing rivals sitting around the campfire enjoying the sounds of the African night. Extended game drives which continue into the evening make game viewing a complete experience. Elephant Pepper Camp brings people back to nature – no traffic, no permanent structures, just the sights and sounds of the African bush.

Elephant Pepper Camp’s green canvas tents, overlooking savannah plains, offer an authentic safari experience:

7 en-suite tents

3 doubles & 4 twin tents

Each tent consists of a main bedroom, with en suite bathroom (traditional safari shower and eco-flush toilet), private veranda and hammock.

All tents can fit one extra bed, to accommodate children under the age of 16yrs only.

1 en-suite Honeymoon / Family Tent

The Honeymoon Tent consists of one spacious main bedroom, an en-suite bathroom (with double wash basins, safari shower and eco-flush toilet), large veranda with seating and dining area and private camp-fire area. This tent can comfortably fit two extra beds, and is therefore also suitable for families.

Maximum capacity in camp at any one time is 22 (six extra beds).
