Location – Mara North conservancy – enjoy expansive views of the Mara river and Oloolol escarpment.

The camp at a glance – 8tents (including 1x family tent), traditional tented bush camp, adjoining bush bathrooms each with bathtubs and shower, privately situated tents, eco chic, 24hour solar power in the charging room (voltage 240), predator project research base and exclusive use of vehicle.

Setting – Serian is ser in a secluded valley. Its eight, stylish “marquees” overlook the waters of the mara rover.

The furnishings evoke the safaris of a bygone era: the natural colours of woven carpets on hardwood flooring and swathes of cotton setting off the colonial-style furniture and pale canvas walls.

Accommodation – Each marquee unique in its own way, furnished with large double beds, flanked by bedside tables and writing desks. The adjoining “bush bathrooms” include a shower, twin basins, large bush bathtubs and flush toilet. Hanging swathes of cotton and canvas walls provide complete privacy.

Service – Fifty odd staff at the guest’s beck and call. Starting your day by serving you early morning tea in the comfort of your bed. Organising your laundry and arranging with the chefs a menu to suit your taste. Safari guides organize picnic breakfasts, lunches, sundowners, and starlit dinners with whatever drinks you require.

Your tent staff will also take any shoes that require cleaning in the evening, returning them to you with your morning tea
